Editor's Letter‍
I’ve always believed that a magazine should be more than a mirror reflecting what
already exists. To me, the true role of media is to be an advocate—a catalyst that
doesn't just observe the industry, but actively champions it.

MANERA exists as the connective tissue between architects, makers, and
visionaries, strengthening the bonds that allow our community to thrive. While these
printed pages are the heart of that mission, they are part of a much larger dialogue.
Whether through our digital platforms, our newsletters, or our presence at fairs, the
goal remains the same: to provide the infrastructure for the craftsmanship of the
Benelux to lead the global conversation.

For this industry to move forward, it requires a constant, living exchange. That’s why I
want to hear from you. MANERA is a home for the projects that push boundaries, the
names to know, and the collaborations that extend far beyond the page.
Design is, after all, a deeply human pursuit—serious in its intentions, yet always open
to the joy of discovery. I hope to inspire and entice you to look closer, to ask more,
and to join us in building the future together.
